Pressbox > PARK PLACE CLEANERS NOW OPEN AT SOMERSETT TOWN SQUARE
Reno, NV, December 3, 2007 – Park Place Cleaners has opened a 2nd store in the Somersett Town Square in the heart of the Somersett Community. Park Place Cleaners is a full service family-run drycleaner. They specialize in the personal touch and very individualized customer service. “Technology has helped us to keep everyone’s preferences at our fingertips, says Amanda Léger, owner of the store. We know our customers personally and with the help of our system, we know they’ll be happy.”
In addition to dry cleaning and shirt laundry, Park Place also offers the convenience of press-only service. They offer a variety of additional services including alterations, repair, suede and leather cleaning, wedding gown preservation, shoe shine and shoe repair. They can also help launder household items like rugs, duvet covers, table linens and more. The owners of Park Place Cleaners realize that their customers are very busy so in addition to a convenient 24-hour drop box, they also offer free pick-up and delivery service on Thursdays.
Park Place is truly a family run business. The Léger family, owners of Park Place are Bill, Amanda, Thomas, 3, and Cameron, 6 months. The extended family also plays a significant part in the success of the business. Amanda decided to leave her Bay Area corporate telecommuting job because she missed the personal interaction that she had and loved, when she worked with the public. When the Légers started to look for a business that fit their lives, they knew it would be a service based one. The Léger family live in Somersett and they couldn’t be happier to help serve their own community with their new venture.
To get to Somersett Town Square, take I-80 to Robb Drive and turn left on Sharlands, which turns into Somersett Parkway. Turn in at the second roundabout. Park Place Cleaners can also be reached at their new location by calling 747-9996.
Somersett Town Square opened this summer as the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) of its kind in Northern Nevada. The complex was built to qualify for Silver LEED certification and has a number of features that enhance the efficiency of the building for energy savings and water conservation.
