Pressbox > Touch-a-Truck & Harvest Festival
Touch-a-Truck & Harvest Festival was a great success at Somersett Town Square on Saturday, October 13. Hundreds turned out to enjoy the beautiful day and help support Big Brothers-Big Sisters at the family event. The event included many unique trucks and vehicles for families to explore and learn about. A huge hit of the day was bucket rides from the Sierra Pacific Power Company bucket truck! The bucket truck lifted people up, a few at a time, so they could get the best view of Somersett imaginable.
There was live music, a pumpkin patch, face painting, hayrides and a raffle to benefit Big Brothers-Big Sisters. Over $1,400 was raised for the organization that brings the power of mentoring programs to our community.
